Worship Songs for Pentecost

Pentecost is the Greek name for Shavuot, the Feast of Weeks. It is the day described in Acts 2 when the Spirit was poured out on the gathered disciples in Jerusalem with the sound of wind and the appearance of fire on each person. Whether you approach this day from the feast calendar of Leviticus 23 or from the narrative of Acts, the event is the same: an appointed time, a gathered community, and a divine outpouring.
