NARROWAY COLLECTIVE
Shabbat is the weekly reminder that the world belongs to Yahweh and that rest is not laziness but obedience. For communities that keep the Sabbath, music plays a central role in welcoming the day, marking its hours, and sending it off at Havdalah. NARROWAY offers something different from traditional Shabbat liturgy: modern production, contemporary vocal styles, and lyrics drawn from the full scope of scripture.
The sound is warm and rooted. "Yahweh's Day" opens with a groove that feels like coming home after a long week. "Planted By The Water" carries the meditative quality of Psalm 1, appropriate for a day of rest and reflection. "Draw Near," from the Fall Feast EP, has a quiet reverence that works well in moments of prayer and stillness.
These songs travel equally well in observant Jewish homes and in communities that have come to Shabbat through the Hebrew Roots movement or Torah-keeping faith. The invitation is open. Light the candles, rest, and let the music mark the time.
