NARROWAY COLLECTIVE
Pesach is the appointed time that tells the story of Yahweh's greatest act of liberation, the night when He passed through the land of Egypt and redeemed His people by blood. The Seder has its own traditions and liturgy, but music that complements those traditions with a contemporary sound gives the observance a freshness that honors the ongoing relevance of the story.
"He Passed Over Me" is a first-person Passover song. It stands in the place of the one who applied the blood, who waited through the night, and who walked out in the morning. The song does not reduce the Passover to a historical memory. It claims it as a present reality for all who are covered by the blood of the Lamb.
NARROWAY is based in Hawaii but its listeners span more than twenty countries, including significant communities in the United States, the United Kingdom, Brazil, and Nigeria, reflecting a global family of believers who share the feast table in spirit even when separated by oceans.
