NARROWAY COLLECTIVE
The Feast of Tabernacles, Sukkot, is the great harvest festival and the most joyful of all the appointed times. The command to dwell in booths for seven days is a command to remember the wilderness journey and to rehearse the coming age when Yahweh will dwell with His people permanently. The sukkah is both memory and prophecy.
"We Dwell With Joy" is NARROWAY's Sukkot song. It captures the outdoor-table, gathered-community, laughter-and-singing spirit of the feast without romanticizing the sleeping-in-a-booth part. The joy is real. The theology is real. And the song is built for the feast week, singable at the table, in the sukkah, or anywhere the community gathers.
Sukkot is the feast that all nations will observe in the coming age, according to Zechariah 14. That universal dimension gives the song a scope beyond any single community. The invitation is for everyone who will hear: come, dwell, rejoice.
